細長而一端尖銳的棒形器物。俗稱為「扦子」，用來插物。
如：「牙扦」、「鐵扦」

栽植法中的插枝法。
如：「扦插」。
明．徐光啟《農政全書．卷三七．種植．種法》：「於正二月上旬，取樹木嫩枝扦插，勝於種核。」
